Synagogue in Fasanenstrasse in Charlottenburg, Berlin. During the November 1938 pogrom the synagogue was burned dow. The ruin was further damaged by Allied air raids in 1943. In 1957 the synagogue was replaced by the building of the Jewish Community Centre. I added the Hebrew inscription “Men from your midst shall rebuild ancient ruins, You shall restore foundations laid long ago” (Isaiah 58:12)
